inhale

you’ve swallowed

the

moon

the light

bathes those

icy irises

pupils dilated

dilapidated

clambering down

the tip of your nose

flowering like a rose

under the touch of the tip

of a finger-

nail

the light squeezes

through the gap

of your teeth

balancing over

the ridge of your lip

slip

slip

slipping

as it springs agile

off that fragile

cliff of your chin

landing between

the crease

of your toes

full of woes

exhale

once more

let it sail
